SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from DealerCX, LLC ("DealerCX," "we," "us," or "our") or from an automotive dealership using the DealerCX operating system, you agree to these SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions ("Terms").

1. SMS Messaging Service

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS text messages from DealerCX and dealerships using the DealerCX operating system for the following purposes:

  • Appointment reminders and service scheduling updates
  • Vehicle service and maintenance notifications
  • Sales follow-up and general dealership communications
  • Marketing messages and promotional offers
  • General two-way communication about products or services

Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's terms.

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with DealerCX and affiliated dealerships. You will likely receive up to 4 messages per month, though frequency may be higher during active service appointments or sales conversations. DealerCX reserves the right to adjust message frequency at any time.

DealerCX and mobile carriers are not liable for delays or undelivered messages.

3. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. DealerCX does not charge separately for SMS communications, but your carrier's standard messaging rates will apply. Contact your carrier for details on applicable fees.

4. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. After you opt out, you will receive one additional confirmation message acknowledging your request. No further messages will be sent unless you opt back in.

To opt back in after opting out, you may re-submit your phone number through the original opt-in method or contact your dealership directly.

6. Privacy

Your information will be handled in accordance with the DealerCX SMS Messaging Privacy Policy, available at www.dealercx.com/sms-privacy-policy, and the DealerCX Privacy Policy, available at www.dealercx.com/privacy-policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your phone number or SMS consent data with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

7. Compatibility

The DealerCX SMS messaging service is available to customers of participating automotive dealerships with SMS-capable mobile devices. Compatible carriers include most major U.S. carriers. DealerCX is not responsible for services that are unavailable on particular devices or carriers.

8. Liability

DealerCX is not responsible for any charges, errors, or delays in SMS delivery, or for undelivered messages caused by your carrier or third-party service providers. To the extent permitted by applicable law, DealerCX's liability in connection with SMS communications is limited to the fees, if any, paid by you for such services.

9. Changes to These Terms

DealerCX reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via SMS notification or updated on the DealerCX website. Your continued receipt of SMS messages after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
